more independence at the creative healing center
Because Tom has been out for awhile, Sam has been in charge of the kitchen, but she tends to come in pretty late. Erica and I feel a lot more comfortable in the kitchen now, so we just start making the juices and doing what we need to until she gets there. This has helped them out a lot because we get stuff done more efficiently when we start earlier, but it also shows them that we are learning. It feels great to know that I can juice, wash veggies, take down the machines, and wash the dishes all by myself. I’m starting to feel as if I’m learning more than just yoga. I’m learning healthy alternatives to normal drinks, like Sprite and orange juice…not that I’ll make myself these vegetable smoothies at home, but at least I know how.
