issues with technology
Being an admin for a Facebook page is a lot harder than managing a personal profile, which we found out the hard way. There are so many different things to control and monitor on Business pages on Facebook, such as extra tabs, comments that people post, the number of views, etc. We also tried to figure out how to add certain applications, such as a calendar and extra tabs, but we majorly struggled. So if anyone who is reading this is good at that, PLEASE HELP US! :)
So rather than spending time fooling around and attempting to get stuff figured out, we tried to be somewhat productive. We connected the main monthly calendar to the Facebook page first. Then, we took the descriptions of the different services, imported them to Word Document, and started to edit the language. We plan on making a “Note” on Facebook that describes all of the services that the Creative Healing Center offers. We also want to add: information about the instructors, pictures of classes and services (in action), and a review section.
This week we are doing the usual stuff at the center, taking classes and working in the kitchen, but we have Mere coming in to help us create a new design for the mural on the porch of the center. This is one of the big tasks that Erica and I were asked to complete at the beginning of our project.
I’ll keep you all posted on how things go next week!
EZGI!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're having some trouble with facebook, so if you're still having problems, I can for sure help you out with it! But I know you have been talking about this mural and I can't wait to hear what you all come up with for it! It sounds like you're keeping busy and I hope you are enjoying everything with your project! :)
